Lee's Summit

Lee's Summit is located on the south and east end of metropolitan Kansas City Missouri. Just 16 miles from downtown and 33 miles from the airport, Lee's Summit population is 86,900 and growing.

Blue Springs is situated on the eastern edge of the metropolitan area, right on Interstate 70 that comes out of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Distance to downtown is approximately 20 minutes with a 45 minute drive to the airport.

Independence Center is a short 5 minutes away for shopping. Other activities close by are Burr Oak Woods, an 1100 acre nature park, Lake Jacomo, a 970 acre lake for boating, Blue Springs Lake a 720 acre lake for fishing, boating and skiing plus 18 city parks.

Grain Valley

Grain Valley is 23 miles east of Kansa City on Interstate 70. Kansas City International Airport is 40 miles away.

Oak Grove growing community located 28 miles directly east of downtown Kansas City Missouri on Interstate 70. The population is 6654. The airport is 46 miles away. Independence

Independence borders Kansas City Missouri on the east. Just 15 minutes from downtown Kansas City and 30 minutes from the Kansas City International Airport offers convenience to all who work or live here. The population is 111,023.

Independence Center provides plenty of shopping, as well as the historic downtown square. Other entertainment includes the Truman Library, Truman home, and Mormon Visitors Center.

Being the 4th largest city in Missouri, Independence provides lots of history. Besides being the hometown of our 33rd president, Harry Truman, it is where the Santa Fe, California, and Oregon Trails all meet. It is also home to the World Headquarters for Community of Christ Church.

Independence offers a wide variety of housing. From historic homes to modern newly built apartments. Single family homes range in price from $30,000 to $500,000.

Kansas City

Kansas City is unique in that it covers 2 states and 4 counties. Not only does it straddle the Missouri/Kansas state line but it also stretches north and south of the Missouri river. Jackson, Clay, Platte, and Wyandotte Counties are all included in Kansas City.

Major businesses located in Kansas City include Hallmark Cards, H & R Block, American Century, and Russell Stover's Candy. Shopping would not be complete with out The Plaza or Crown Center. Entertainment options include riverboat casinos, Kansas City Zoo, Truman Sports Complex, Worlds of Fun, Nelson Atkins Museum of Art.

Kansas City is a big sports town. The Royals and The Chiefs provide big league events to residents and tourists of our area at the Truman Sports Complex. The Big Twelve NCAA conference also has activities in the Kansas City area both at the Truman Sports Complex and Kemper Arena. The University of Missouri and The University of Kansas sometimes play events in Kansas City venues. On the Kansas side of the state line, NASCAR recently built a track that hosts national races through out the year.
